In addition to teaching elementary Jewish Studies and helping with holiday observance, duties could include leading Tefilah and teaching Hebrew. JCDS is a pluralistic, egalitarian day school. The exact definition of the role will depend on the candidate's experience, but should include: Teach elementary grade Jewish Studies Lead morning tefillah Lead Kabbalat Shabbat Ensure adherence to JCDS Kashrut Policies Serve as a resource for students, teachers, and families Ensure Jewish educational experiences are seamlessly integrated into the daily program for all children Pay is commensurate with experience.
