The MAX Charter Alternative School is a type 2 public charter school approved by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to serve students in grades first through eight who have a primary diagnosis of dyslexia, characteristics of dyslexia, or a co-morbid learning difference as it relates to dyslexia. Certified Regular Education teachers interested in teaching 4th through 8th graders Social Studies should submit a resume' via email or in person at the school's main office at 100 Afton Drive on the Nicholls State University campus in Thibodaux, Louisiana. We will also consider candidates in an Alternate Certification Program actively working towards obtaining certification. Must be willing to train in and utilize the Comprehensive Behavioral Analysis in Schools model.
