Job Description
Mother Mary Lange Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated, and enthusiastic Religion Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic school year . The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering students' spiritual growth while delivering engaging, standards-based religious instruction aligned with the curriculum and mission of the Archdiocese of Baltimore . Essential Functions Follow the guidelines and tenants of the Catholic Church and the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Create and implement lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, engage, and inspire students to think confidently and independently. Be responsible for the safety and active supervision of students. Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum. Communicate with parents in a professional and timely manner. Perform recess and lunch duties as scheduled. Support the Catholic spirituality and mission of the school. Attend various school events such as Back to School Night, Graduations, and Open House. Position Qualifications Must be an active, practicing Catholic fully able to participate in the life of the Church. Maryland certified or willing to pursue MD certification. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
