Successful candidates will bring experience teaching Pre-kindergarten, an understanding of child development, and a deep love for the ages and stages of Pre-Kindergarten students. Candidates must be able to support young learners in all core subjects (literacy, math, and social studies), assist with class, and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom. Collaboration with teaching partners, colleagues, and families is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, as is knowledge of best instructional practices in literacy, math, and social studies. Preferred qualifications include experience with Responsive Classroom, Primary/Singapore Math, and/or Reggio Emilia. Candidates must be committed to developing cultural competence in their teaching and working effectively in diverse environments. This includes differentiating instruction, collaborating effectively with colleagues and families, and demonstrating strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills to build rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
