- Job Title: Document Specialist
- Job Description
- This role involves ensuring the accuracy of title documents and processing mortgage-related paperwork. The position requires excellent attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Responsibilities
- + Review title documents for accuracy in recording title information.
+ Research state and county requirements within the computer system.
+ Enter mortgage information into the system to record title.
+ Audit recordable documents to be sent to the county recorder.
+ Handle and process various mortgage-related documents such as assignments, Deed of Trust, Warranty/Quit Claim Deeds, releases, and affidavits.
+ Process recording fees by understanding related mortgage documents.
+ Manage mortgage documents including rejections and resubmissions.
+ Proof incoming documents and anticipate issues regarding process changes.
+ Assist the team with daily operations including binning, printing, and stapling.
+ Support the eRecord and offshore teams by processing Level I and II Electronic Filing.
+ Collaborate closely with the team to pull urgent document requests as needed.
- Essential Skills
- + Proficiency in mortgage-related processes. + Data entry skills. + Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Minimum of 3 months professional experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Work Environment
- The team operates in a fast-paced environment, characterized by a fun and outgoing group of colleagues. Work hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM and ending at 4:00 PM.

- This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $17.
00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
