Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid credentials or certifications required for SLP MI (State License/Certification). Demonstrated experience or preparation as a General Education Teacher, preferably with a focus on social studies. Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and classroom management. Ability to adapt lessons for a diverse range of learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver compelling social studies instruction to K12 students according to district curriculum guidelines. Develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, engagement, and inclusivity. Assess and monitor student progress; provide regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure student success. Maintain accurate records, participate in meetings, and contribute to the schools educational goals. Implement accommodations and modifications to address individual learning needs. Support classroom management and maintain a welcoming, respectful atmosphere.
