Job Description
The Women's and Gender Studies and Political Science Departments at Providence College are seeking an instructor to teach one section of our cross-listed Gender and Politics course for Fall 2026.
Course Description:
PSC/WGS 380
Gender and Politics A study of the political significance of the treatment, roles, and status of women, with emphasis on the United States. Examination of the meaning of gender, sexism, and feminism. Cross-listings also includeBlack Studies and American Studies Course Days/Meeting Time:
Monday & Wednesday 11:30 AM-12:45 PM Applicants should have Master's Degrees, be advanced PhD students, or have PhD's in hand, in Women's and Gender Studies, Political Science, or a related field wherein research or teaching centers women, gender, and politics broadly defined. A curriculum vitae, cover letter, and three references are required with application. Additional materials (letters of recommendation, transcripts, and teaching statements) will be submitted upon request. This course currently has 10 students enrolled.
