Accounting Job Summary This position carries with it the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College in carrying out the duties of the position. A commitment while embracing positive interpersonal behaviors, professional communication, integrity, leadership, stewardship, respect and accountability to our students and employees. It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of course and program objectives and to contribute to the overall educational environment of the college and community and to provide related services such as academic advising, committee participation, professional development, community development as well as other service support that is needed in the fulfillment of the North Central Texas College's Mission. Responsibilities include teaching college courses in Principles of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and/or Technical Accounting classes. Classes scheduled during the day, on campus depending on enrollment. Required Education Master's degree in Accounting or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting. Required Skills & Abilities Must be willing to teach face-to-face and online. Required Experience Work experience in any of the following areas: bookkeeping, auditing, forensic accounting, managerial accounting, Quick Books or staff accounting. Preferred Experience Prefer community college teaching experience. Special Instructions to Applicants Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma. Resume and unofficial transcript required in addition to application. Pay rate is $680/course load. Finalists will be required to present a 15 minute teaching segment on the accounting subject of their choice. North Central Texas College ("NCTC") is an equal opportunity employer.
