A History or Social Studies Teacher teaches in the social studies fields for elementary to secondary school students. Elementary school teaching focuses on general social studies, with history overview courses starting in middle school. High school focuses on specific courses of study, such as Modern US History. Fields include history, geography, government, and current events.
Accounting Job Summary This position carries with it the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College in carrying out the duties of the position. It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of course and program objectives and to contribute to the overall educational environment of the college and community and to provide related services such as academic advising, committee participation, professional development, community development as well as other service support that is needed in the fulfillment of the North Central Texas College's Mission. Responsibilities include teaching college courses in Principles of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and/or Technical Accounting classes. Classes scheduled during the day, on campus depending on enrollment. Required Education Master's degree in Accounting or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting. Required Skills & Abilities Must be willing to teach face-to-face and online. Required Experience Work experience in any of the following areas: bookkeeping, auditing, forensic accounting, managerial accounting, Quick Books or staff accounting. Preferred Experience Prefer community college teaching experience. Special Instructions to Applicants Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma.
