Grade English/Social Studies Teacher Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a dedicated and innovative 2nd/3rd Grade English/Social Studies Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year. As an ELA/SS Teacher, you will be instrumental in inspiring a passion for literature, language, and communication among students.

English/Social Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards. Employ a variety of teaching strategies to encourage critical thinking and a love of reading and writing. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback aimed at enhancing their linguistic and analytical skills. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to promote an integrated approach to student learning. Keep abreast of current literary trends and pedagogical methods to enrich the classroom experience. Guide and support students in developing their writing skills and understanding of literary concepts.

English/Social Studies Teacher Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English,Social Studies, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching certification or license. Profound knowledge of English and Social Studies principles. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to effectively convey complex literary concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive educational environment.
