Social Studies Teacher

Responsibilities Center for Change is seeking a part-time Social Studies Teacher. The Center is a residential healthcare facility which provides treatment for women who suffer from eating disorders. The Center is respected for its programs, progressive outlook, and for its major contributions in research and treatment in the field of eating disorders. Among the Center's program offerings is an Academic Education Program which includes Cascade Mountain High School, an accredited Special Purpose School with AdvancED. The High School makes it possible for adolescents, grades 9 through 12, to continue their academic education as they progress through treatment. Teachers work closely with a team of professionals to plan and implement instruction and learning patterns which will help students in their academic pursuits and preparation for graduation and university studies. Teaching schedules rotate on a two-week block schedule with classes taught once each quarter. Classes are taught from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
