• and upper-division course levels. On the lower-division side, we seek applications from outstanding candidates with relevant teaching experience who can teach survey large lecture courses in the MUSC 11-series, and topical large lecture courses in the MUSC 80
• & MUSC 81-series.

On the upper-division side, we seek applications from outstanding candidates with relevant teaching experience who can teach various ethno/musicology courses, which includes the foundational History/Culture courses in the MUSC 101-series (which covers Western music history, as well as other cultural & regional musics from around the world), and topical history courses in the MUSC 105-series. Applicants with expertise in college-level teaching and who can contribute to the inclusive pedagogies and excellence of the Music Department's undergraduate and graduate programs (Music Ph.D., D.M.A, and M.A.) are strongly encouraged to .
