Job Description
Job Description To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned General Studies subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student-centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture, and their traditions. To actively participate in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community. Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed within the college to enhance student learning, and who bring with them a wide array of practical knowledge and varied experience. Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses. Involvement in applied research and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed. Adjunct Faculty teaching load are assigned on as per need basis and may not exceed Nine (9) credits per semester. The workdays in a week are normally Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule. Master's Degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline Or Bachelor's Degree may also be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per the discipline requirement. Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required. A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience is preferred.
