Job Description

The School of Professional Studies and University Transfer is currently seeking qualified individuals to instruct JumpStart (dual enrollment) History sections during the following days and times: Wednesday 8 AM
  • 10:30 AM, Wednesday 11:15 AM
  • 1:30 PM, and Friday 8:20 AM
  • 10:30 AM. This position requires the adjunct to:
  • Instruct History survey courses
  • Develop and manage course syllabus and materials
  • Develop and manage an online course site in the college's LMS, Blackboard Learn
  • Maintain records of attendance and student performance
  • Submit attendance and grades as required by the college Education
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in History, subfield, related field Experience
  • 1-2 years of teaching experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Design and deliver effective instruction
  • Assess student learning and incorporate findings into course delivery
  • Utilize a learning management system to supplement face-to-face instruction
  • Support and encourage students in a civil and welcoming classroom climate Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
