Adjunct Position Summary Prairie State College seeks adjunct instructor to teach Spanish High School Equivalency (GED): Contextualized Math. This course prepares Spanish-speaking students to pass the GED Math and Science exams. The class is taught in Spanish. The course meets on campus, evenings, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30am-9:45pm. Class begins 9/22/2026 and ends 12/10/26. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in GED content area or related area Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning Excellent writing and organizational skills Spanish/English bilingual Preferred Qualifications Master's in GED content area or related area Experience teaching in an Adult Education program Familiarity with GED exam content and components Standards Proficient Training credential Credentialed to teach online Special Instructions to Applicants All applications must be submitted electronically.
