Job Description

Job Summary The Department of English and World Languages at Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Indiana) anticipates hiring a full-time Lecturer to teach courses in Spanish for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position will focus on beginning and intermediate language courses. Candidates must have completed an MA in Spanish (or other relevant field) plus a minimum of two years' experience teaching at the college level. Start date is August 17, 2026. Responsibilities include teaching five classes per semester. Salary is competitive with similar positions at other regional institutions and includes benefits. Renewal of the position is possible and contingent on enrollment and successful performance reviews.
