- Names and contact information for three professional references.
- Master's degree in the relevant Romance language or a related field.
- Professional-level proficiency (ACTFL Superior, or equivalent) in both English and the target language. Professional Competencies
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to contribute to institutional diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Preferred Qualifications
- Successful college-level teaching experience.
- Experience in curriculum development, proficiency assessment, heritage language teaching, andor service learning.
- PhD for those teaching upper-division literature, culture, and linguistics courses (course numbers 315 and above).
