A Law Professor teaches national and regional legislative ideas and truths, as well as the methods used in practicing various forms of law to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, law professors will perform legal services.
Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law is seeking well-qualified entry-level or junior-level applicants to fill (2) tenure-track faculty positions. Primary curricular needs include Sales, Remedies, Professional Responsibility, Criminal Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Advanced Criminal Procedure. Other needs include Constitutional Law I and II, and Civil Procedure I and II. Candidates must possess a strong academic background and an equally strong potential for legal scholarship and teaching excellence.
