Your role The doctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Professor Eleftheria Neframi. The doctoral researcher's main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of European Law, in English or French. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be jointly supervised with another university. The suggested overarching theme of the PhD is the external dimension of the green and digital transitions. The doctoral researcher will benefit from being part of a research group working in the framework of the DTU and of a dynamic Doctoral school, bringing together the PhD candidates of the Department of Law and of the Luxembourg Centre for European Law (LCEL). The doctoral candidate is encouraged to contribute to the teaching of seminars or tutorials. The Department of Law of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a PhD candidate to conduct research in the framework of the Doctoral Training Unit on Green and Digital Transitions in the Single Market (DTU-GREITMA). DTU-GREITMA

is funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and brings together 13 PhD candidates. It aims to reflect on the societal, ecological and economic challenges that the Single Market faces in its ongoing integration process from three different perspectives: the transformative effect of the green and digital transitions on the Single Market, including its external dimension and the EU's strategic autonomy ; the use of the Single Market's mechanisms to regulate a data-driven society adapted to sustainability challenges; and the enforcement mechanisms to effectively apply and facilitate the green and digital transitions in a multi-level system.
