Position Description :

Georgia State University College of Law seeks highly qualified applicants for a full-time non-tenure track Professor of Practice to teach in the Heirs' Property Clinic beginning in August 2026. The Clinic will be offered in the evening to accommodate students in the part-time evening program. The Professor of Practice is a twelve-month faculty position. We are seeking applicants who have substantial knowledge in relevant fields of legal practice and who will excel at supervising and teaching law students developing skills in these practice areas. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Supervising student legal work on matters of direct representation of clinic clients; Sharing responsibility for teaching the clinic seminar; Engaging with students in one-on-one meetings and in a classroom environment to foster their learning and development; Advising and directing students through relevant legal research, memorandum drafting, and presentation preparation; Clinic program administration; Consulting with the clinic director on matters of strategy and clinic development.
