A Law Professor teaches national and regional legislative ideas and truths, as well as the methods used in practicing various forms of law to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, law professors will perform legal services.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design multiple 8-week online courses (2-3 preferred, based on expertise), including learning objectives, weekly modules, assessments (e.g., quizzes, case studies), and interactive activities. Develop engaging, practical content for non-lawyer professionals, incorporating real-world scenarios and industry-relevant examples. Collaborate with the MSL program team to align courses with program goals and accreditation standards. Create accessible materials (e.g., video lectures, readings, discussion prompts) for the program's learning management system. Meet project milestones, with course drafts completed by March 31, 2026. (Optional) Serve as a lecturer for developed courses post-launch, delivering content and engaging with students online. (Optional) Contribute to future course development for MSL program expansion. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 8/16/2026. Adjuncts will make $10,000 for course development, with the potential for an ongoing lecturer role with additional compensation.This position is eligible for all sponsorship for work authorization options.
