A Law Professor teaches national and regional legislative ideas and truths, as well as the methods used in practicing various forms of law to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, law professors will perform legal services.
Part-Time Lecturer - SPPUA - Law and Public Policy About the Opportunity The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.
Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate courses for the CSSH minor in Law & Public Policy, such as, but not limited to: Introduction to Law; Introduction to Law & Public Policy; Special Topics in Law & Public Policy. Teaching will be on ground in a traditional classroom setting. Please note teaching experience and subject matter expertise in cover letter. Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.
Qualifications:
