On-site at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore, Maryland The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy is conducting an open search for a School Professor, Non-Tenure Track, in the Department of Practice, Sciences and Health Outcomes Research. This position requires teaching, service to the school, campus and the profession, and scholarly activity. The position is a full-time, 12-month appointment based at our Baltimore campus. In addition to service, and scholarly activity this position will be responsible for Institutional and Curricular Assessment and serving as course manager for the Pharmacy Law PharmD course, review sessions and oversight of MPJE licensing requirements. The University of Maryland, Baltimore campus houses schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Law, and Dentistry. The University of Maryland enjoys an excellent established record of accomplishment of successful collaboration for interprofessional practice and research collaborations with the other professional schools on campus.SUPERVISORY CONTROLS

Lead institutional assessment and academic effectiveness, managing campus-wide assessment processes, analyzing faculty workload and productivity, conducting major institutional surveys, mapping and evaluating PharmD curricular outcomes, and interpreting student performance data to guide program improvement.SCHOLARSHIP
Conduct original research evidence-based decision making, policy development, and scholarly analysis across key academic and operational areas, including pharmacy school enrollment trends, curriculum design and tuition structures, student remediation and grading policies, innovative faculty promotion and tenure models, and faculty salary benchmarking. Scholarly activity is required; publication and presentation of work is expected. Secure funding for research projects. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Scholarly activity which may be pursued either independently or in collaboration with other schools, departments, or campus faculty.SERVICE TO THE UNIVERSITY, SCHOOL, AND PUBLIC
Participate in appropriate faculty activities (e.g., faculty assembly, department meetings, faculty committees), professional organizations, and other endeavors.Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An earned J.D. Juris Doctor or equivalent degree with a strong focus on institutional assessment and pharmacy law. Excellent communication skills are essential. Evidence of scholarship are preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
