A Law Professor teaches national and regional legislative ideas and truths, as well as the methods used in practicing various forms of law to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, law professors will perform legal services.

This is a 9-month faculty appointment with primary responsibilities in undergraduate teaching and pre-law advising. The successful candidate will contribute to instructional excellence and carry a 5/5 course load. Candidate will also serve as the pre-Law advisor for students preparing law school and legal and policy careers. Successful candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Substantial experience teaching and mentoring students about law and policy and current knowledge of law school application processes and trends is a must.
