Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Librarian to support digital asset and metadata operations for a retail organization. This Long-term Contract position will oversee the accuracy, organization, and movement of large volumes of product and creative data across digital libraries, Airtable, and translation-related systems. The role partners closely with creative, marketing, technology, localization, and external stakeholders to keep publishing and content workflows running smoothly. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys structured data, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and well-structured metadata across digital asset libraries and related content systems, ensuring consistency across records and classifications.
  • Perform large-scale data tasks such as importing, exporting, reviewing, reconciling, and validating records to preserve data quality and usability.
  • Organize and execute data mapping, cleansing, normalization, and migration activities to support library updates and ongoing operational needs.
  • Develop, document, and refine repeatable processes that improve data handling, publishing support, and team efficiency.
  • Monitor translation-related data workflows, including request intake, record maintenance, prioritization, and status updates for ongoing deliverables.
  • Support the upkeep of translation reference resources such as terminology databases, translation memory assets, and style documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams and external contributors to align on requirements, communicate risks, and resolve data issues affecting timelines or deliverables.
  • Facilitate working sessions, capture decisions, and follow through on action items to keep cross-functional initiatives moving forward.
  • Identify breakdowns in current workflows and recommend scalable solutions, including training and guidance for teams using data management processes.
