Continuous Description Glendale Community College Library is currently accepting applications for part-time, hourly faculty positions for in-person with remote options. GCC is seeking adjunct librarians who have experience with or are ready to gain experience with providing instructional services in various modalities. This position includes providing research assistance to students at the Research Help Desk, as well as via Zoom and chat. Additionally, the librarian(s) in this position will teach library workshops and contextualized research instruction sessions in-person or remote via Zoom and/or Canvas. Adjunct librarians may also be assigned to work on related library and campus projects, based on skill, availability, and professional interest. The work schedule will vary during the library hours of Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 9 PM, Fridays, 10 AM to 2 PM, and Saturdays, 10 AM to 2 PM, including in person hours. Minimum Qualifications Master's in library science or library & information science from an ALA-accredited institution OR the equivalent.
