Communications Coordinator Cherry Valley Public Library Cherry Valley, IL Job Details Part-time $16.75 - $19.15 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Website maintenance Website management Serving clients In-person customer service Graphic design Attention to detail Working in libraries Fundraising Content marketing Professional art or design Full Job Description We are looking for a creative, energetic, outgoing, detail-oriented, and independent individual to join our team. You will work collaboratively with the Library Director, Graphic Designer, Management Team and others to promote library programs, services, and collections. Must provide excellent customer service to all library patrons, volunteers, and co-workers: possess the ability to learn new technologies: have budgeting experience: and follow library policies and procedures. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates quarterly newsletter (print and electronic). Develops daily social media posts. Creates and distributes weekly marketing e-mail to library patrons. Provides website content and shares website maintenance duties with staff. Promotes fundraising efforts and participates in special events. Conducts community outreach and acts as a community liaison. Manages all media relations. MUST be well spoken and comfortable on camera. Participates in weekly podcasts.
