Job Description

The Harper College Library is accepting applications for a part-time Public Services Librarian. Harper College is a comprehensive community college in Palatine, Illinois.

Public Services Librarian:

part-time, approximately 8-10 hours per week; evenings and weekends are required. Primary responsibilities include providing reference services in person and online. Other responsibilities may include teaching library instruction classes, maintaining or creating LibGuides, and other duties as assigned. Applicants should have strong communication skills and value working in a diverse, student-centered environment. Experience with reference, instruction, and maker space preferred.
