POSITION SUMMARY
The Librarian oversees the library and supervises the elementary library paraprofessionals.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISORS
Building Principal and Director of Library Services DUTIES:
Selects and acquires appropriate library materials, teaches and encourages effective use of media to faculty and students; provides leadership in the use of technology and Internet research; coordinates the library program to support the educational goals.
EXTRA DUTIES
: as assigned by principal which may include: Collaborate in PLC work, collaborate with classroom teachers and administration to develop unit lessons, engage in SIP plan suppport. Co-teach research units.
QUALIFICATIONS
Indiana teacher certification and library endorsement.
