Primary responsibilities include:

Assisting patrons with checkouts, course reserves, and returns. Answering general library inquiries. Data entry and bibliographic searching. Collection maintenance (shifting, inventory, signage, etc). Shelving materials. Answering phones/directing calls. Processing item requests. Receiving and distributing mail Processing new materials. Maintaining the appearance of the library and the stacks. Helping with library displays. Assisting patrons in using the photocopier/printer. Data entry and bibliographic searching. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience preferred. Must have excellent phone etiquette. Excellent interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Sound judgment. Must be enrolled as a student at MICA.
