Job Description
Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for a part-time Library Associate I. The Library Associate I (Circulation) supports the daily services and operations provided by the Circulation department of the Eshleman Library. Models concepts of outstanding customer service and demonstrates effective communication skills in assisting students, faculty, staff, and community members. Utilizes previous library experience to use, troubleshoot, and maintain patron records within the library's integrated library system (ILS). Provides support fulfilling MeL requests and locating materials needed. Confidently assists patrons with photocopying, printing, and scanning. Clearly and concisely reinforces library policies to ensure equitable access for all users. Like all members of the Circulation department, the Library Associate I will uphold the commitment to making spaces, services, and collections welcoming, accessible, and safe for a diverse community of library users.

Earned associate degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. One year of experience working in a library setting. Two years of experience providing customer service to a wide range of individuals.
Hours :
The generally scheduled workday is from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Thursday.The most successful candidate will have a career that reflects the following competencies and qualifications.
