Job Description

Herrick District Library Part-Time Aide - Youth Services $18.77 - $23.69/hour 20 hours/week The Herrick District Library is seeking a friendly and flexible Library Aide to join our team in the Youth Services department at the Main Library. Library Aides perform a wide range of library functions that encourage our community to connect, discover, and create. Primary duties include assisting patrons, especially kids and caregivers, by providing reader's advisory, access to information, and help with technology. This position also performs some library circulation functions, solves patron account issues, and helps to maintain an inviting and interactive space for all guests. This position requires a high school diploma. Spanish language fluency is desired.
Weekly schedule:
Hours may vary and there is some flexibility 20 hours/week At least one evening until 9 p.m./week Every third Saturday from 9:00-6:00pm Occasional Sun from 1:00-6:00pm Applications or resumes are due to the Business Office no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
