- Providing direct service to library users, creating a welcoming and accessible environment in the library, and supervising student workers at the desk and on projects.
- Hiring, training, assigning work, and evaluating student workers.
- Ensuring high quality service at the main service point in the library, assisting library users with questions, loans, and group study room check outs, assigning and overseeing the work of student workers, responding to safety and building issues, and collaborating with building and campus partners to ensure the library services desk serves as a welcoming hub for library and campus activities.
- Performing resource sharing tasks, digitization and remediation support, and cooperatively working on stack and collection maintenance projects with the Access & Collection Services Team.
