Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary Helps plan and execute collection space projects and updates catalog records to optimize collection space and improve user access.
In consultation with supervisor, conduct collection management projects including inventory, record maintenance in the Libraries ILS, and shifting to optimize shelf capacity and prepare collections for migration to a new ILS and future relocation to a high-density storage facility. Perform daily circulation and interlibrary loan tasks including retrieval, scanning, check-in, and shelving of physical materials. Gather data to support collection space map of general collections in the offsite storage facility. Aid in projects related to relocation, shifting, transfers, and storage and physical removal of deaccessioned materials. Perform other duties as assigned.
