The Library Assistant helps to maintain the library and its collection by assisting students and staff, and implementing library programming as directed. Specific tasks are variable and can include helping students in their search for appropriate books, cataloging new books, teaching library curriculum and skills, and the creation of signs and book displays. The Library Assistant also supports library events including book fairs, author visits and other library programming.
