Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Sorting, shelving, and maintaining library materials Emptying book drops and other returned materials receptacles Helping maintain the overall orderliness of the library, including shelving and displays Assisting with pull lists and processing reserved materials as needed Performing other related duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:
Ability to reach, bend, climb, squat, and stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push carts weighing up to 50 pounds Must be at least (16) years old to be able to work a combination of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately classify, and organize library materials. Ability to work efficiently and process work in an accurate and expedient manner. Ability to complete assignments from general instructions or established procedures. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to use office technology. Must be able to work 12 - 16 hours per week; schedule covers a combination of afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends.
