TE Description Library Assistant Accuforce is looking for Library Assistants for the Kingsport Library!
Library Assistant duties include:
Loaning library materials such as books, DVD's, ect to patrons Collecting returns Maintaining all library materials Answering questions and provide assistance to patrons Prepares materials, books, films and crafts for Story Hour Conducts tours of library facilities to patrons Re-shelve books and clean bindings Select and organize material for display case(s) Performs mother duties assigned
Requirements:
HS Diploma / GED Professional demeanor and customer service skills Basic Computer Skills Organizational Skills Follow oral and written instructions
Schedule:
Full-time Hours
Must be flexible to work during the Libary hours of operation: Mon-Thurs 8:30a-7:00p & Fri & Sat 8:30am-6pm
Must be flexible to work evenings & Saturdays as needed
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for duration of shift
Must be able to walk up/down stairs several times during shift
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Must be able to squat, bend, reach, stoop, and kneel
