The City of Coppell is seeking a Library Assistant who provide friendly, professional circulation support and clerical assistance that keeps our library running smoothly. These positions play a vital role in connecting residents to resources, information, and one another—enhancing learning, curiosity, and community belonging. Library Assistants support daily operations, assist patrons with checkouts, account information, and interlibrary loan processes, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors. They work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure efficient service, accurate materials processing, and positive public interactions. Ideal candidates are adaptable, dependable, and committed to the City's Culture of Credibility and dedication to exceptional community experiences. The Library Assistant works a variable, 20-hour schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings. Pay Plan This opportunity is non-exempt and on Pay Grade #5. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
Hiring Range :
$19.17 Min $19.17 Mid $23.48 Max $27.79 Candidate Engagement Plan September 4- September 20: Accepting Applications September 21
