Check materials in and out using integrated library system (Atriuum). 2. Organize, straighten, and shelve books. 3. Lead programs as needed. 4. Assist patrons in locating materials, opening new accounts, and answering factual questions in person, by phone and email. 5. Must have basic computer and printer knowledge, including being able to troubleshoot issues and assisting patrons as they use the computers. 6. Handle money and operate a cash register. 7. Be willing to help out with special projects like sorting donated books. 8. Keep library clean, organized and inviting.

Ideal Candidate:

Someone friendly and organized, who is willing to go the extra mile to make the library an inviting and easy-to-use space. A high school diploma is preferred. Previous library experience preferred. The hours for this position are; 2pm-6pm Mon, Tues, Thurs. In the future there may be available shifts on Saturdays 10:30-3, evenings for special programs, and covering for other staff (10 am - 2 pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday).
