Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity This non-benefited position is available in the Library's MakerSpace. Provides general and in-depth assistance and quality service to patrons and volunteers in the use of MakerSpace resources. Performs technical research and instruction on equipment and software, assists with patron accounts, issues library cards, handles money, and manages overdue items. Helps to create and hosts workshops, classes, and summer camps. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Seeking curious, creative, and outgoing candidates who are excited about helping patrons learn new skills in our MakerSpace. Requires knowledge and experience in 3D printing, sewing equipment, sound and videorecording.

Experience with the following preferred:

GoPro cameras and apps, Silhouette/Cricut machines, iMovie, Audio DAWs such as GarageBand, Adobe creative software, and general arts and crafts. Must be reliable and able to work in busy or stressful situations. Must be self-directed and have a passion for creativity and making, and the ability to share that with others. Public service and previous library experience preferred. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Pay and Benefits Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
