Previous teaching or tutoring experience required! Classes are held afternoons, evenings, and weekends. All classes take place at our learning center in Cupertino. Young Scholars Institute offers individualized tutoring and college counseling for K-12th grade students. We provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in all subjects, including SAT/ACT, AP, and Honors courses. We create customized tutoring plans for each student based on his or her unique learning profile. Our goal is to help our students maximize their chances for academic success! Requirements:
Must have a degree (Bachelor's Degree or higher) Must be able to teach levels of math that include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trig/Pre-Cal, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, or more (Integrated Math 1, 2, 3). For science, must be able to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Environmental Science. Have at least a year of experience tutoring •Please be aware that we want an instructor who can do BOTH, not just one subject•
