Math Teacher (7th & 8th)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a credentialed, experienced 7th & 8th Grade Math Teacher with strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction for students at multiple ability levels . The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge students to grow while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach 7th and 8th grade math to 4-5 small classes (capped at 15 students). Provide differentiated instruction that supports a range of learning styles and ability levels. Maintain strong classroom management, ensuring a structured and focused environment. Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and best practices. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators. Support students in developing mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Qualifications (Must Haves): Valid teaching credential in Mathematics or a closely related subject. Proven classroom management skills. Experience teaching in a classroom with students of multiple ability levels. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Strong knowledge of 7th and 8th grade math content, including pre-algebra and algebra. Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with middle school students.
