Camellia Waldorf School is currently seeking a Math Specialist to teach in our middle school for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and versatile colleague to teach mathematics in grades 6th - 8th and to work collaboratively with the class teachers to support skill development of the math curriculum. Strong candidates will possess a degree in mathematics or a related field and will have teaching experience, ideally in a Waldorf school. Teachers new to Waldorf education are also welcome if they have an enthusiasm and interest to teach a Waldorf curriculum. We are looking for teachers with a love of working with children. Candidates for this position should be aware that we have been teaching both indoors and outdoors this past school year and may need to continue to be flexible, depending on circumstances regarding the pandemic. This is a part-time position paid by the hour ($22/hr. , including paid prep. time). The Camellia community is warm and welcoming, combining strong heart forces with a practical organization.
