Job Description
Wonder Quest is a new learning center dedicated to providing personalized and engaging educational experiences for students in grades K-8th. Our mission is to help students develop a love for learning while understanding Mathematics on a deeper level, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and creative educator to join our team. Position Overview We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math Teacher to join our team, teaching students in grades K-6 in an after-school setting with class sizes of approximately 15-20 students. This role is ideal for an educator who loves making math engaging and accessible, and who can build strong relationships with students and families. Responsibilities Plan and deliver math lessons for students in grades K-6, tailored to individual skill levels Assess student progress and adapt instruction to support diverse learning needs Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that builds confidence in math Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress Collaborate with fellow instructors and center leadership on curriculum and scheduling Maintain classroom management appropriate for after-school program settings Qualifications Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students in math Strong understanding of K-6 math concepts and curriculum standards Patient, engaging teaching style with the ability to differentiate instruction Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a small learning center environment Background check clearance (required for all staff working with minors) Experience with Singapore Math is a plus Bachelor's degree preferred; teaching credential or relevant coursework a plus but not required
