Position:
Part-Time AP Statistics Teacher /
Tutor Location:
Walnut, CA Schedule:
Weekday afternoons/evenings and/or weekends, based on student enrollment Responsibilities Teach AP Statistics in 1-on-1 and/or small-group settings Help students understand AP Statistics concepts, including probability, data analysis, sampling, experimental design, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing Support students with school coursework, homework, quizzes, and exams Prepare students for the AP Statistics Exam Identify students' academic weaknesses and provide targeted instruction Communicate student progress and concerns with our academic team when needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Education, or a related field Strong knowledge of AP Statistics curriculum and exam requirements Previous experience teaching or tutoring high school Statistics strongly preferred School district or classroom teaching experience preferred Ability to explain statistical concepts clearly and work effectively with high school students Reliable, professional, and able to commit to a consistent teaching schedule Preferred Current or former high school Math/Statistics teacher Experience teaching AP Statistics Familiarity with College Board AP Statistics curriculum and
