The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science (COS) at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track faculty position at the Instructor level beginning in the Fall Semester of 2026. Teaching Responsibilities - Candidates will be expected to teach a load of approximately 12 credit hours per semester, primarily in courses at or below the calculus level. The main areas of teaching are Mathematics and Statistics. The candidate should show clear promise of excellent instructional capacity. They should be able to demonstrate their ability to understand learning differences among students and be able to foster and create educational opportunities where all students can thrive. Service Responsibilities - Candidates are expected to serve on Departmental, College and University committees, and provide professional service to external entities related to their field of expertise.
