- Education reimbursement and partnerships About the Role Sagemont Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Math Teacher to join our collaborative team in supporting our high school students.
- Plan and teach mathematics courses
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary approaches to math instruction.
- Maintain an orderly, engaging classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Employ positive classroom management techniques, encouraging student responsibility.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
- Mentor students, promoting academic achievement and personal development.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, proactively engaging them in their child's education.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level.
- Strong ability to present mathematical concepts with clarity and confidence.
- A collaborative spirit, sense of humor and willingness to roll your sleeves up to help wherever and whenever needed
- Commitment to building supportive relationships with students both in and beyond the classroom.
- Ability to pass both state and federal background check To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
