This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a strong background in food service management, hospitality, and team supervision. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a motivated, well-trained staff. Your leadership will create an inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued and staff are inspired to deliver their best every day. Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant and lounge operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and customer satisfaction. Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive and efficient team. Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Supervise shift management, including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts. Develop budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to meet business goals while maintaining quality standards. Foster a welcoming environment by promoting excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly. Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquets, and special promotions to enhance revenue streams. Lead staff training initiatives focused on food safety, culinary techniques, POS system usage, and hospitality best practices. Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills Extensive experience in restaurant management with a focus on casual dining or fine dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary operations, and kitchen management. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated ability in supervising staff across various roles including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support staff. Expertise in inventory control, food safety protocols, budgeting, and cost analysis within the food industry. Excellent leadership skills with experience in training & development as well as interviewing potential team members. Proven track record in managing fast-paced environments like quick service & fast food restaurants or hospitality settings such as hotels or lounges. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing shift responsibilities efficiently. Experience in catering services or banquet management is advantageous for expanding event offerings.
