Job Description

We are a small, non-religious K-12 school that has been serving Gainesville families for decades.
Our goal is simple:
give students a great start in life. Our math program is growing, and we're looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher who wants the freedom to build something special. We want someone who enjoys making math engaging, challenging, and meaningful for students, while helping them develop confidence as problem-solvers. With small class sizes, supportive administrators, and very little red tape, our teachers have the flexibility to be creative and focus on what matters most: teaching. Responsibilities
  • Teach Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calc.
  • Create engaging lessons that help students understand concepts, think critically, and enjoy learning.
  • Monitor student progress and provide helpful feedback.
  • Foster a classroom environment where students feel challenged, supported, and respected.
  • Work closely with fellow teachers to build a strong, cohesive math program.
  • Communicate with families as needed to support student success. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • High school teaching experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A willingness to work as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
If you love teaching and want the freedom to build an exciting math program with supportive colleagues, we'd love to hear from you.
