Job Description

St. Petersburg Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is open immediately and for Algebra 2 and Math for College Liberal Arts. St. Petersburg Catholic is an AP Gold Honor Roll School with the highest AP pass rates in Tampa Bay area and a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School. Additionally, the school has won Top Private High School in the Tampa Bay Region for three consecutive years and was named a Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace in 2025 and 2026. We are seeking an Math Teacher that has familiarity with Understanding by Design, project based learning, and integration of classroom technology, including using student iPads to facilitate instruction and assessment. Qualified candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with students at various levels of proficiency. This position will begin in the fall semester of the 2026-2027 school year. Previous AP experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
A four year degree in a Math related field from an accredited college or university; master's degree preferred. Florida Department of Education Certification in the applicable subject area or statement of eligibility. Prefer previous teaching experience at the high school level, including AP experience. Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening and Safe Environment training.
