Our School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is actively recruiting for one (1) Lecturer of Mathematics and two (2) Instructor/Assistant Professors of Mathematics (Tenure track). These positions will support and carry out the college's mission, values, and strategic priorities in compliance with the mandates and regulations of the University System of Georgia and all associated accrediting agencies. Specific essential duties of the Instructor / Assistant Professor position include, but are not limited to, teaching 30 credit hours or equivalent per year (Tenure track) or 36 credit hours per year (Lecturer) as assigned and assist with the preparation of materials and exams as needed, maintaining timely and proper communication with students, faculty, and staff of the college, managing courses through systematic use of appropriate syllabi and accurate, professional records in accordance with college policy, regularly reviewing and updating instructional materials based on new information, research, or discoveries in the discipline or in pedagogical approaches to teaching in the discipline. To qualify, incumbent must possess a master's degree or higher in mathematics or closely related field or a graduate degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline.
